Trump's not a Republican. And I wager he will shed the Republican moniker the second it starts dragging him down, and will start calling himself a "conservative" or "patriot" or something else to avoid going down with the ship.

Jon Bernthal has blunt response to alt-right fans of 'The Punisher'

Jon Bernthal could give Donald Trump lessons in the proper response to unwanted support. For those who don't know, Bernthal plays The Punisher in the Netflix series of the same name.

When asked about people in the military wearing his character's logo, he said he was, "honored to play a guy who people putting their life on the line identify with.”

When asked about alt-right protesters in Charlottesville wearing the Punisher logo, he said, "Fuck them."

See? That wasn't hard at all.

Then again, maybe Trump has no problem at all with the racists and other similar folks who support him.

Also from the article, Bernthal is a gun owner who is in favor of tighter restrictions on gun ownership.

    He can't do that.
The thought of being invisible terrifies him.
He has a pathetic, childlike need to be noticed.
His pathology is growing worse and thus so will this neediness.

It's a big part of why Wolff was allowed so much access. He craves exceptance form the people he claims to loathe. Wolff is the perfect Trump Castle stenographer. None of what we read today was news, just gossipy power plays. Trump sees people like Wolff as his oxygen. It's why he can't quit calling Haberman either. She's the perfect Trump whisperer: Covers politics like it's entertainment, Manhattan lifer, from the right family, etc.

    Double Down-
Haberman was one of the first to take his political ambitions seriously, and write about those overtures. He remembers stuff like that.
The left attacks her as an apologist, as it attacked Schmidt last week.
I don't care for the approach but I respect it in a professional sense.
