Let's not forget the reason the Republicans need Democrats at all is to keep the government functioning. They don't have a strong bargaining position. No compromise with the criminal traitor president and the party of treason.

 

I was in Colorado recently and smoked for the first time in quite a while. Many years.

I had two hits and started hacking. Couldn’t stop. The people we were with never smoked in the old days and expressed their profound disappointment with me, given my experience all those years ago, which they were well aware of.

I felt like a looser.

The wall will be wildly ineffective and a complete waste of money, for no other reason than old white people are scared of brown people.

But if there's some sort of deal to be had where we can get some good things in exchange for it, sure, whatever. Big dumb waste of money at least isn't outright evil.

 

10,000 extra officers for Trump's ICE, however, can go fuck itself.

AKA back when we had an actual illegal immigration problem.

We currently don't. We have a "what do we do with all the illegal immigrants who are already here" problem.
