Of course it would. Racism isn't limited to Republicans vs. Democrats, despite your myopic inability to see anything beyond laundry.

We live in a racist society, and we are all shaped by it to various degrees. Unfortunately, the degree to which the president and people who have shamelessly fallen in line have been shaped by it is to chant "blood and soil" and talk about how immigrants from Africa lived in huts, but the white nationalist uprising within the Republican party is a relatively recent phenomenon. It's always been an element of it, but it hasn't always been in control the way it is now.

Without white racism, the Republican party would get fewer votes than the Libertarians and Greens.

They are pretty practiced at this point at seamlessly transitioning through the "he didn't say it"/"he didn't mean it"/"he said it and he meant it and it wasn't that bad"/"it's good that he said it" process by now.

I am going to bite on the troll. If America decides that humanitarian reasons are insufficiently important to this country to allow immigration on that basis, say have a public debate and say so. If Americans want to restrict immigration, to whatever degree and for whatever reason, debate in openly. Discuss it like adults.

Is there a reason to have immigration in this country? Yes, Asians (India is in Asaia) contribute mightily as native Americans are falling behind in engineering and sciences. We, America, need their intellectual entrepreneurship, our is lacking. Too many people sneaking into this country and causing trouble? Allocate the resources and remove them. The ones that have been here for years, with families, children born or raised here, they dont cause a problem and in a generation or 2 will out work and out produce most evangelical republicans in Appalachia.

There is nothing wrong with a real debate, with facts and arguments and discussions on immigration.

Trump cant handle any of it. He ( and his supporters including the elected republicans) wont do a merit based discussion, because they will lose on too many points. THey are also racist at the core. Ignorant of the people they are talking about. Intellectually incapable of critical and analytical thinking. Trump/GOP is, essentially, a fascist party. Strong military, oligarchy of politics and business, strata of rights for societal members. Projection of a strong executive leader without equal legislative and judicial branches.

Please dont respond, you dont have the ability

Yes. It's a direct result of the 1965 voting rights act. Minority-majority districts were purposely drawn. You're not disputing this, are you?

I mean, the idea that Dems treat minorities in a paternalistic, racist manner isn't a news flash.

I really admire Durbin's account here. It's clear. Calls Trump what he is. Suggests a solution.

They don't *really* mean merit-based. They mean white.

They will justify this particular piece of garbage by hiding behind the phrase "merit-based." Then tomorrow DACA will come up, and suddenly merit-based will be irrelevant and "rules are rules." And then all those poor white conservative tech bros will remember that their mediocrity is being squeezed by non-white immigrants and suddenly nobody will care about merit-based standards, we just have to protect jobs for Real Americans.

No it is not but assuming people from certain countries won't qualify just because of the fact that they are from certain countries is.

Don't get me involved by taking out of context quotes in order to do your daily contortions to justify the shithead president's racist meanderings, you fucking asshole.

My post was in the context of stadiums, surrounding areas, and places for fans to congregate.

The Oakland County Coliseum has the Nimitz freeway to the west, beyond the Nimitz is a school of trucking, and two car dealerships.

To the east is the long walk to the BART station - next stop the airport.

To the south is a truck dealership, a public storage and Hegenberger road, which features a Burger King and Taco Bell

To the north is USA Metals, Emerald Steel, Chemical Compounding, Compass Container Group, Meyer Plumbing Supply, and Bee Green Recycling and Supply.

The Coliseum is in a completely industrial area. A true shithole to attract fans to come early and stay late. My post had nothing to do with people or races. Think before you post.
