Did said authors define "those who should get in" as "people from white countries like Norway" while praising a Nazi rally as "very fine people"?

 

One minor but interesting nugget at the end of that story: the Mueller investigation will not be affected by a government shutdown because it's funded with a "permanent indefinite appropriation."

The President will be so relieved.

It is also worth noting that in the 1990s, we had an actual illegal immigration problem. As far as it was a problem, in that pretty much everyone tacitly agreed it was best to ignore it because it was good for the economy.

We currently do not. Making it a central issue when it has no reason to be is yet another iteration of the not-so-subtle racism of the current Republican party.
