If this has been covered earlier, I apologize. Last night, chef Jose Andres was at an after party being held at the DC restaurant Cafe Milano. He says the owner, who he knows, asked him to leave because his presence made Ivanka Trump, dining with another party, uncomfortable. Ever alert to Washington gossip, Axios called the White House, where "a senior official speaking on background" denied the story. Because nothing carries as much weight as an anonymous denial, I guess. These people are gutless in addition to their other faults. They can only punch down. Against equals, they fold like the cheap grifters they all are.
PS: Ivanka committed a serious, serious breach of insider DC etiquette here, puncturing the fantasy that all persons there are capable of putting aside their partisan differences.There will be more tales told out of school about her behavior in the near future.
