The issue is we don't know if he has PTSD or if he had a history of drug use before his service.

My grandfather was a World War II veteran who suffered from PTSD, which led to drug use. He never really got the help he needed, in part because he was written off as a drug addict, and he eventually committed suicide. As you can imagine, a story like that would hit home for me, but we just don't know if that is the case here.

    What a dipshit answer.

It’s as if public employment is its own goal.

Incredible that this wasn’t done previously.

The Trump administration is targeting Hezbollah’s financial network with new sanctions in a bid to undermine Iran’s influence overseas.

The Treasury Department says it’s targeting six people and seven companies. The sanctions target a network of companies in Lebanon, Ghana, Liberia and elsewhere linked to prominent Hezbollah financier Adham Tabaja.

Senior Trump administration officials say it’s the “first wave” of a campaign to squeeze Iranian-backed Hezbollah. They say the U.S. estimates Iran sends Hezbollah about $700 million annually.

Stupid logic is stashing your money in a savings account and thinking you're somehow entitled to earn a certain level of interest.

LOL ... but we should definitely encourage more defined-benefit retirement plans in the private sector, right?

When do those sanctions that Congress overwhelmingly voted for going to kick in on Russia?

This will enable Russia to exert more influence and get money from terror networks. With the lack of sanctions against Russia, Putin and Friends will set up a financial network to help the terrorists. And by getting close to the terror networks, they can deflect Russian interests from the attention of Islamic terrorists the the Russian sphere. Russia can also weaken the links between Hezbollah and Iran and make position the Russians to have more of a Middle East presence. Soon you’ll see Russian interests vying with Chinese interest to provide weapons and infrastructure to the Arabian peninsula, Iraq and Afgnaistan
