Biden is too old for two terms but if he promised to serve one and then go back into private life, I'd vote for him in a heartbeat while the Demos developed some younger talent for 2024. He would destroy Trump.

There was a time when I could disagree with the Republican's positions while still respecting them. There was a time when the Republicans thought that this man hung the moon. I guess times change.

 

Joe rails against drunk drivers, lobbies for harsher sentences and zero tolerance for them.

Joe's son is arrested for DUI.

Two questions:

--- Is Joe a hypocrite if he hires the best defense lawyer to see that his son is sentenced as leniently as possible?
--- What percentage of parents would do the same?

Hypocrisy is a form of rationalization, a mental defense mechanism without which humans would go insane.
