Wouldn’t it be safer just to make it impossible for anyone to get any gun? Just to be, well, safe?

 

Regardless of where you stand, you have to agree that the goal of sowing discord and destabilizing our institutions (the government, the press, the criminal justice system) has been wildly successful. Our country is so busy fighting with each other that we don't realize we're being played. Not saying the divisions didn't exist, but the Russians appear to have added a generous serving of rocket fuel to the mix. The cable network talk fests don't help.
