    As a matter of absolute morality? OK.

    As an indicator of personal character, having made a vow to be faithful in a marriage? Maybe.

    But I think it's meaningful as a practical matter to the extent a president can be blackmailed for it.

    Personally? No. As a matter of state security? As potential leverage or inducement? As a distraction not only for the President but those working around them? Yes. The President is an employee of the American people. The minute his personal life intrudes on his ability to do his job it becomes a problem. The Clinton thing is interesting. I think the investigation and his lying was a bigger problem than the sex.
