If by "nailed it" you mean "completely misunderstood Jefferson and ignored all the writings the man made stating his direct opposition to the position I'm taking," then sure.

Thomas Jefferson, who you were keen to quote earlier, disagreed with you. The idea of a bedrock that isn't rebuilt every generation was a folly to him. And he was right.

The real reason the Constitution is hard to amend is slavery, anyway. Slave states were terrified of having their right to own people taken away, and wanted to neuter the power of the majority to stop them at all turns. Our country will probably never live down that legacy. It wasn't some brilliant statemanship that made them think "What we've written down is so fundamental, we must make sure that future generations only edit it lightly." They were thinking "holy fuck, if we don't give the slave states whatever they want, they'll split off and we can't survive on our own without them."

Compared to your idea that we should blow it up and start over, it's genius. No system is without flaws, but you think we could do better with the current population and leadership? That's funny.

Stormy at the strip club: A porn star cashes in on presidential connection

TAMPA — In the center of the nightclub, between the cigar case and bustling bar, a giant screen blankets the back wall. Usually, ads for drink specials and coming attractions scroll across.

But Friday night, a life-size picture of President Donald Trump peered at the stripper pole.

Then there he was, puckering beside a porn star. In another shot, he’s squeezing the blonde’s shoulders, beaming at her big boobs. She looks bored.

"Stormy Daniels," read a huge headline. "Make America Horny Again."

Shows at Thee Dollhouse typically start after midnight, but the owner had scheduled an early-bird performance, so young professionals could come right after work. So retirees could enjoy a lap dance before bed.

"As soon as I saw the news, I knew this was going to blow up," said Warren Collazo, co-owner of the Tampa strip club. "Stormy was here three years ago, she used to live here, she’s a great girl who’s had a great career. Why not jump on that bandwagon? So I called her agent and said: ‘Let’s get her booked. I’ll get some hats made.’?"

The tax cut, that was supported by less than 30% of the public, thanks to lies from Democrats and the media, is now polling at over 50%.

    Small business confidence is up.

Don’t blame ‘Washington.’ Blame the GOP.

Nine in 10 Republicans support background checks for all gun buyers. The same share supports preventing the mentally ill from purchasing guns.

Majorities of Republican voters also support banning gun modifications that can make semiautomatic guns more like automatic ones; barring gun purchases by people on terrorist no-fly lists; banning assault-style weapons; and creating a federal database to track gun sales.

Again, that’s what Republican voters want. Those preferences have been ill-served by NRA-funded Republican politicians, however.

Americans are sheep, and too easily distracted. They're already forgetting the tax burden that comes later.

The tax package preys on that. Now talk about the staggering debt increases.
