Graham lived on a 200-acre retreat. At least he wasn't an asshole for owning a dog.

You would think they were the people I'm convinced are hired to wait in line for the opening of every IKEA. But, yes, I can see how those deep into the gun culture can be that clueless.

Alas, the problem is that "fake news" seems to be as well-defined as what a catch is in the NFL. Is it something clearly false, like suggested in the post, or is it a story that someone doesn't like, as Trump wants us to believe.

One of the students interviewed on CNN this morning said "If you saw me in 'Fiddler on the Roof,' you know I'm not an actor."

But, just because we're sj.com, I'm sure he was great in "The Client."

It looked like they were turning a corner after Trump declared the War on Christmas over, too.

It looks like the high school kid's First Amendment rights scare the hell out of the Second Amendment people.

They probably should. I remember a number of such campaigns hitting a tipping point and changing "just the way things are". Before MADD, there were a lot of us who measured the length of a drive in six packs, for instance. "Well, it's about a sixpack from here to San Antonio..."

I thought that Sandy Hook would be enough, but it might just be that people are getting very sick of kids slaughtered in school being the new norm. Sick enough of it to make Congress buck the NRA? We'll see. There are going to have to be people voted out of office over it before it really starts to stick.

Marcy Wheeler. If she's right, and Manafort is playing it fast and loose by using heavily mortgaged (and possibly mortgaged by means of bank fraud) property in his new effort to make bail, that might be enough to put him into actual jail. He does not seem the sort of guy to tough it out in jail for very long.

It's going to be interesting to see what's what when the documents are unsealed. It looks like Mueller is getting what he wanted when he made the deal with Gates, because it looks like he gave up the attorney and new information on Manafort personally. Trump stayed in touch with Manafort after he was "fired". Given that he wasn't taking a salary, he was an unpaid advisor both before and after he left the campaign. Trump's tweets should let us know how close a possible flip of Manafort is getting to him.

Ari Melber. "They're all lying". Looks like someone close to Mueller thought that was a very interesting quote.
