But only after they've forfeited the right by committing a felony (and being convicted of one). It's not pre-emptive.

That's not a constitutionally guaranteed right.

And the Heller case specifically says that the State’s right to prohibit firearms possession can occur after conviction or for mental health reasons. The State deny habitual drunkards and drug addicts from possessing firearms under circumstances, usually a proven history of such behavior. That behavior may include non criminal behavior. The State can, if they choose, deny someone the right to possess a firearm after a DUI conviction if it so chooses. During the pendency of a protective order hearing, the State can deny the possession of firearms, without a conviction and on an ex-parte affidavit from a petitioner.

Without a conviction, the State can deny someone of their liberty through involuntary commitments for mental health if they ar a danger to themselves or others. Through eminent domain the State can deny you personal or real property if it advances a governmental interest. YOu will be compensated, but you cannot refuse the transfer. Even so far as taking your property and selling or giving it to a private third party for development if it enhances property values or provides jobs or increases the tax base.

Technically not, but it became constitutionally prohibited before the prohibition was repealed.

In some states one can serve alcohol under the age of 21 (which would fit some definitions of transporting and selling), they just can't purchase it.
