    Right. What's the argument?

If he had four minutes to play shoot 'em up, even a six-shot revolver could be reloaded, and do more damage.

There should have been an armed teacher in Stephen Paddock's room at Mandalay Bay.

Do people even own revolvers any more? Every piece my friends own look like action movie props.

Military folks don't usually carry on base - unless they are MPs or are downrange.

Why do we think that the NRA has "captured" middle America's soul, instead of reflecting it?

Has Planned Parenthood "captured" the soul of their supporters?

Are you honestly trying to make the argument that a six-shot revolver and a machine gun with a high-capacity mag are equally dangerous weapons in a situation like this?

I know. My point is, there were well-trained and armed people in the vicinity, as there presumably would be in the armed cops/teachers scenario. But they can't be everywhere at once.

What will that do a school district's insurance policy? Also, what liability does that open the teacher and/or school district up to if the teacher leaves the pistol unsecured, doesn't follow safety protocols and discharges it accidentally or draws the weapon and shoots an innocent bystander?

For casual users and home defense a large caliber revolver is preferable. Less maintenance required. Less likely to jam. No stove piping. For criminals it’s better as they don’t leave shell casings in the scene.
