If you could magically transport guns into the hands of these trained teachers at the moment a mass shooting begins, sure, go nuts.

But you can't. You have to put those guns into every school, every day. Some of them will be forgotten about or stolen and used to kill other kids or the teachers themselves. Some of them will be used in the heat of the moment to try to break up behavior that is bad but not life-threatening and shouldn't involve lethal force. Some kid (almost
certainly black) will be held at gunpoint on suspicion of drugs in their locker, refuse, and get shot up for reaching for their waistband.

And when the day actually comes that the school shooter arrives, it's 50/50 whether the teacher actually stops them or just shoots some extra people by accident.

More guns will simply lead to more gun deaths.

    When? Where?

EDIT: Oh, yes. The recent one, in which two were killed.

Remember how "president you'd most like to have a beer with" was an actual metric? In the race for "president you'd most like on your side in a bar fight," Trump has to be last. An eclair masquerading as a man.

I assume the other one he is thinking of is Paducah, which was actually a couple of years before Columbine.

Notice that in the recent one, only two were killed, but 16 total were shot. The type of gun really matters.

Do not insult the magnificent eclair. Can we agree that Trump is a rancid stuffed cabbage?

I was going to note that, as well. It's described as a "shotgun."

Data point, for sure, against the, "If they want to do this, they will find a way" talking point.

AR-15s should be barred from sale to the public.

    It was a joke, right?

Maybe he should learn to speak English, so that when he says something the words will mean what he said.

Saw it earlier from a former co-worker of mine who moved on to PR. I was tempted to ask him about it, but decided he wasn't worth the conversation.

I absolutely love that Trump's lawyers said outright that they are afraid for him to testify for fear that he will lie under oath. Whether that is because Mueller asks him tricksy questions that he already knows the answers to or because he just can't help but lie, it would be really amusing - if he wasn't the President.

Just let Trump go in front of a Mueller. The worst that happen is he gets charged with perjury and Mitch McConnell hurts himself trying to deal with the resulting erection when he gets to acquit him as revenge for Bill Clinton.

How do you know he's wrong? You are posting as if they are being forced into something or exploited even though there is no evidence to support your accusation.
