I've actually come around not to feeling sorry for the GOP, exactly, because they're reaping what they sowed. But they are a special kind of fucked.

They roll with Trump, as they have, and, well... They have to roll with Trump.

They turn on Trump, and his supporters will turn on them. They lose that base. He's not a real Republican or party man. He'll turn on them in terrible ways.

Once he became their nominee, they had no good out.

 

It seems like they'd need something on par with the grab 'em by the pussy tape that happened after he took office. Since, you know, all those immoral shenanigans happened before he turned his life over to Christ.
