Exactly, what started with Reagan let to the "Contract with America" BS in 1994, which meant "we'll enact legislation to protect family values while we pillage the tax code to benefit our big donors" and sadly the less fortunate bought it.

 

I like that.

Call the election a sham all you want, but the man holds an approval rating double that of the President of the United States. We're tumbling down a rabbit hole worse than the late 1950s.

 

When I am talking "morality" I am talking about personal morality---sex---the discussion was about the right and trumps morals as a man. Not issues. And again the right has been the party of family value and even had an organization called the "moral majority"---which they think they are---except, they are not, they screw around on their wives and have sex in the closet as much as the left does. The right just pretends that they don't and because of that think they have superior morals. (sexually)

 

This afternoon, Ari Melber referred to Trump mistress Karen McDougal as Susan. Wrong scandal, wrong Boomer president.
