I would quit too if my boss had a long history of not paying his bills.

 

It also gets pretty boring when it's a block of tweets with no analysis.
This is meant to be a discussion forum, not a twitter feed.

I’ve never understood the distaste for him, and he sought “discussion” here more than most.

He provides a different opinion, and it’s frustrating sometimes, but I’d rather hear the other side than not.

The other side confines itself to its own echo chambers, although places like Breitbart have been besieged for a while by liberal trolls.
The sides have been picked. No one's mind is going to be changed on this.
(BTW, I haven't seen one pro-Trump argument in the NYT comments sections in months.)

 

I've absolutely changed my mind on some issues over the past five years.

 

Such as?
Do you think Trump isn't a statist, racist, reckless, seditious shit disturber?
Do you think his followers (which is exactly what they are) have somehow thought all of this through?

 

I changed my opinion on abortion in the last five years.

I don't think Trump's followers should be dismissed outright in any conversation, simply because they are Trump followers.
