Trump is going to be so pissed when folks start comparing today’s marches to the size of his inaugural crowd.

Rumors that Trump's attorney Michael Cohen might try to quash Daniels' upcoming interview with 60 Minutes smack of desperation (one is reminded, in fact, of Trump's opponents flailing in the primaries)."

As well it should.
The right's fear is showing, and it's not a good look. Several of those profane children specifically said they weren't interested in taking away anybody's blessed guns. They are interested in measures that the vast majority of the public supports. Yet that terrifies the right, which is so scared that it demonizes people who saw their peers murdered.

 

They have no interest in that at all. Because the organizers have no interest in that. Emotions make for great TV, terrible policy.

 

Banning assault weapons is terrible policy? Gun deaths fell considerably when these weapons were illegal. Strengthening background checks is terrible policy?

 

Is that what these “kids” want?

Also, gun legislation was just passed yesterday. Pay attention.

"Kids" in quotes? I know it makes it easier for you to demonized them if you insist on ignoring dates on their birth certificates, but that's out of the NRA playbook. Congrats on common cause with a terrorist organization.

I put that in quotation marks because they’re not behind this movement. They’re just being exploited by adults who are are afraid to be honest with the American people.
