Wonder how many civilians are going to die by good guy bomb tonight

 

How come? Same thing 15 years ago and the Bush Administration got off scot-free.

 

Have to check with the wife. She showed them to me a few months ago. Not sure where she got them.

Did see an interview this morning from an alleged medical worker in Syria. Said there was an explosion and fire. Immediately someone yelled "chemical attack!", and people started panicking. Said he treated several victims for smoke inhalation . . . but saw no evidence of anyone affected by a chemical agent.

 

When did international norms stop requiring a UN finding?

The US lost the moral authority to say “there were WMDs because we say so” awhile ago

 

And here we go with the "You're with the President, or you hate America."

 

I'm wondering which course he plays around DC tomorrow, just to show all is normal.

 

None. He can't be seen as presidential that way. Another televised Address To The Nation will get better ratings than standard evening news report on his daily golf game.

 

The honorable way out for Trump?

Perhaps a sword and a large pot of sake.

 

We should not have meddled in Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya or some of the smaller Gulf States that were 'troubled'. Or Syria.
Saddam, Mubarak, Ghaddafy and Assad were the guys keeping the lid on those countries.
Look what happened when they were removed (or weakened as in the case of Assad).
Our role should be as an example, encouraging the world's dictatorships to take steps towards constitutional republics through diplomacy and policy, not through military intervention.
Even the Taliban in Afghanistan shouldn't have been our problem. It's pretty clear they would have handed OBL over sooner or later.
I realize at least some part of this is to prevent people from talking about his pee-pee tapes and ridiculously self-destructive scandals, but it bears mentioning.

 

Might tell everybody to go buy a new TV with their tax cut money.
