In other words, less women are getting pregnant to begin with. Of the 8 percent difference (56 women or so), any number of things can happen from them choosing birth or going out of state for an abortion.

The issue then arises when they don't have another state to go to.

 

The mortality risk of illegal abortion isn't a thing yet because abortion is still legal. Just wait until it is illegal.
