What is really surprising is that their weekly political podcast is really, really good. It helps that "Face the Nation's" John Dickerson is there to keep it somewhat modulated.

 

There was that awesome couple years where the only thing they did was sportstalk radio teasers for headlines.

 

He used a completely legal business entity to make an investment that ended up buying property from a guy who later pleaded guilty to something that Hannity wasn't involved in. Misleading headlines and the liberal use of scare words that have no legal meaning will have Hannity convicted by sundown.

I wonder if the Slate correspondent is capable of noting that the law in dispute in that decision didn't "outlaw" conversion therapy.

In the U.S., state governments are beginning to outlaw conversion therapy in growing numbers. California became the first to do so in 2012. Eight other states have banned it in some form since. In 2017 alone, Nevada, New Mexico, and Connecticut have signed their own bans into law. And two weeks ago, a long-anticipated bill passed the Rhode Island Senate.

 

California didn't outlaw conversion therapy.

 

So the Atlantic is wrong too.
