Yes, He wrote a sentence or two about him a month or two back. It might have been in a thread about parents. He didn't seem to be aware of the connection he has to the personality trait of his Dad.---like many of us.

 

As an aside, I was testing an email before sending it yesterday, and our email software pulls a random first name from the recipient list. So my email started "Hi Dick," which I thought was unnecessarily hostile.

 

Revealing the contents of PMs is against board policy.

 

My board persona took a pretty drastic turn a few years back after I received a series of near-unspeakable PMs. But guys like YF and QYFW had my back, which I still appreciate even as we spar in public.

YF also talks about the conversations he had with a bunch of us about his daughter. Again, with people he spars with regularly here.

Point is, there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff that plays into who we are here and who we’re friends with.

 

My girlfriend is moving into my place in about three hours. Trust me, I can.

 

Maybe Joe Arpaio will come out of retirement to make bologna sandwiches for them as well.
