President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

I hope that the Clintons recognize their role in this wide-ranging fiasco.

If Hillary Clinton would have turned the private email server in to the FBI or some other agency at the beginning of that mess, Comey would not have been forced into the situation that he fumbled so badly.

If Bill Clinton would have had enough control to ignore the presidential advisor in his trousers, misogynistic behavior or attitudes would perhaps be more likely to exclude more candidates from office.

Not to excuse Trump in any way for the continuing shit storm that I believe he uses to distract folks from his personal and emotional failings and to obfuscate the agenda of the wing of the GOP That holds power.

But the Clinton are directly responsible for providing more than a few of those buckets of shit. I think that the best thing they could do is to decrease their exposure to media and fade into happy private lives.

It's being reported that 2,000 children have been separated from their parents at the border in the last six weeks.

How many times over the years have I heard some variant of the question "How could the German people not known about the death camps? How could they have allowed this to happen?"

Obviously the children and parents are not being put to death, but this policy is reprehensible and un-American. I hope that the disgust will reach critical mass and cause enough pressure to end this heartless policy. Trump and Sessions are taking these people's children away and imprisoning them, then advertising it as a deterrent to others trying to reach this country. It's horrible.
