I don't consider it a big deal except for this: It is one more instance where one of the women Trump dallied with was silenced during the campaign. That's the issue, not that Trump is a sleazy cheater on his wife. That was well known going in.

Like that time that a deal was reached on DACA giving him some of his stupid wall funding, which Trump immediately reneged on.

 

The idea that immigrant detention wasn't widely reported, or written about, or condemned at the time is, of course, nonsense.
