I promise not to argue that Obama should be nominated to the Supreme Court.

Please let it happen, if only so I can see Ted Cruz' face afterward.

Not when you make it illegal and impose fines if they don't have it. I mean, if you want to argue that more people are covered and that's better for the health of the country I suppose that's a philosophical argument to consider. But touting it as a political accomplishment as if another 30 million people suddenly agreed with Obama and thought it was a great idea to get health insurance, or as if all of them suddenly had the opportunity that they didn't have before, is disingenuous.

That’s a great pro-life position and policy. If anyone is stupid enough to find fault in that it’s clear they are neither moral nor pro-life.

Do you get your health insurance from your employer, or do you pay for it on your own?

Certainly a Dem fantasy. And, from what little I've read and heard, O'Rourke seems like a good candidate. And he appears to have a lot of Texas Democrats fired up, when they've had little to be excited about for a long time.

Nobody wants to see that weasel Cruz lose more than me. But I just can't see it happening. A 5-6 point loss would be a step forward for Texas Dems. But in the end, still a loss.
