I have only watched a little of Strzok's testimony but he appears to be making these idiot Republicans look like total boobs. My God these people are terrible.

Surprise! The Deplorables see it 100 percent differently.

Under the radar: the Senate confirmed a guy to be the head of the DoJ's criminal division. He has zero experience as a prosecutor.
Trumpists, can you defend this one?

In 2010, Obama nominated Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court, despite the fact that she had no judicial experience at all.

    Did that bother you?

Yeah but the GOP is a slow-moving target.

    Whatabout? Whatabout? Whatabout? Whatabout? Whatabout?

The real answer being you've got nothing.

    LOL.

You don't want to admit that you didn't give a shit, huh.

Or, maybe the related experience -- serving as Solicitor General in Kagan's case -- means the direct experience isn't as necessary as some would lead us to believe.

That was an appropriate whatabout, oop.

Should the very first judicial job someone holds be on the Supreme Court?

Irrelevant, though nobody is defending that choice here. We're talking about what Trump did and you can't defend it. That another president may have taken a similar action in the past doesn't make it right.

Whataboutism as all you ever seem to be able to do here. Perhaps the reason is you can't really defend most of what President Trump does on merit. Then again, you don't really care about merit. You just care that he's a Republican. To you, that makes an act acceptable.

I don't think Kagan was qualified. Obama could have found someone better.
Yes, experience matters. It's absurd to think it doesn't.

If you were hiring for a position of oversight, wouldn't you want the overseer to have done what the people under his authority have done? How can a boss be expected to provide advice or decent evaluation if he or she can't relate?

Like it or not, fedruhl agencies still have career professionals in place. They may not think much about being judged by someone who has never done the job.
That was one of my peeves with one boss I had. This is basic.
