LOL. Next time she should watch Abby Martin for more than 8 minutes before parroting the occupation mantra.

    She's very pretty.

An interesting note, that hasn't been mentioned here...

The sitting Congressman that she beat in the primary, Joe Crowley, had previously secured the ballot line of the Working Families Party, and has refused to take the necessary steps to have his name removed from the ballot, which means voters can still vote for him in November, which, given his name recognition, and a larger turnout, could result in a victory for him.

(Ironically, the WFP, like it's counterpart on the Right, the Conservative Party, tends to endorse candidates further left on the spectrum. Ocasio-Cortez would be a much more natural fit for them, but they obviously didn't see Crowley facing a credible challenge.)

Crowley isn't actively campaigning, but since he's already on the ballot, he could change his mind at any time, if Ocasio-Cortez steps in it, or maybe he just runs a stealth campaign.

As with almost every one of these kinds of quotes that @heyabbott posts, there's no evidence Franklin ever said this:

    Quotation Index

But then our former CIA head went with a fake Lincoln quote the other day.

Many candidates really don’t know what’s going on over there. That’s why term limits is such a mistake; it takes time to learn this stuff.

That said, this is a hard candidate, at this time, to be too hard on. She didn’t think she’d win. No one did. In, I dunno, six years, she’ll be a lot sharper on all of these matters - even when I don’t agree with her, which will likely be somewhat often.

I know it’s just Twitter, but that response really, really bothered me.

How can anyone with more than two functioning brain cells not see that Trump is in Putin's pocket?

Trump looks like he is sitting in a chair borrowed from the library of Trotsky Elementary.
