    Keep the goal posts moving.

Obama somehow managed to never try to distance us from NATO while moving us closer to an alliance with Russia. Obama also managed to never say, "hey thanks FBI - but you're a bunch of liars. I'll take the former KGB agent at his word, instead."

Watergate was an enema, embarrassing and mildly painful, but in the end America prevailed, the system worked.
Iraq cost American lives. Iraq cost millions of Iraqis their lives but for America it was just another stupid foreign policy decision that did not cost the Nation its sovereignty. Coolidge was ill prepared for preventing the depression but if FDR had been president he would have treated the symptoms a little more aggressively, but without the depression the politician and the politics would not have allowed theNewDeal to get started. Not saying the depression was inevitable, but without it, we would have had more depressions

BullRun I showed that the Civil War was not a theatrical event, that it was horrific war and Antietam showed that it will be a War of such unimaginable scale that it would forever alter the Nation. The worst set of decisions was abandoning Linoln’s concept for reunification and reconstruction.

Trump, today, cemented America’s failure as a nation of consequence. Business and lives will go along, temporarily. But we have no world friends. No partners. When Russia concludes a trade pact with the EU, and the EU concludes a trade pact with China, America will be frozen out. And that is a direct result of trump taking Putin bareback dressed in his mother’s lingerie

Given Trump's willingness to dismiss his own intelligence and law enforcement agencies, how far will he take it? Is it possible that he won't believe or accept the 2020 election results if he loses?

"Vut you see in zis scene here is clearly my greatest work. One of ze models, Veruschka, was very hesitant to appear in scene with Trump. "He reeks of KFC and Axe Body Spray," she said. I told her, "ah, my little babushka, do it for Mother Russia. We will have leverage over future president. Leverage we don't need over current weak-baby Kenyan president."

That is what Russia truly hoped for in 2016. No one had any idea that republicans would be so wildly andblindly ignorant to vote for this creep. They just hoped to throw as much shit in the post campaign media that Clinton would be hamstrung to do anything.

Trump getting elected was the goal, but not a probable outcome.
