Coolidge was ill prepared for preventing the depression but if FDR had been president he would have treated the symptoms a little more aggressively, but without the depression the politician and the politics would not have allowed theNewDeal to get started. Not saying the depression was inevitable, but without it, we would have had more depressions

BullRun I showed that the Civil War was not a theatrical event, that it was horrific war and Antietam showed that it will be a War of such unimaginable scale that it would forever alter the Nation. The worst set of decisions was abandoning Linoln’s concept for reunification and reconstruction.

Trump, today, cemented America’s failure as a nation of consequence. Business and lives will go along, temporarily. But we have no world friends. No partners. When Russia concludes a trade pact with the EU, and the EU concludes a trade pact with China, America will be frozen out. And that is a direct result of trump taking Putin bareback dressed in his mother’s lingerie
