My only solace after today is that history will judge Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell as some of the country’s greatest cowards. Their grandchildren will be rightfully mocked in restaurants and dorm rooms and country club mixers for generations. Trump is a senile and addled toad but he didn’t get us here without help.

 

Well, Obama should have prevented Russia from infiltrating the NRA and establishing back channels with the GOP.

 

Why does the NRA love Russia and vice versa?

Think about what it says that the people who actually work for Trump and interact with him on a daily basis are like “He’s not able to process and nuances of this” but some of Trump’s biggest Internet fanboys are like “He has a master plan and is playing chess.”

We’ve seen Trump wuss out on his “tough guy” bullshit before when he’s face-to-face. He’s a coward in person.

He saves his tough talk for twitter and his cult rallies. But he actually talks tough at some point. (Sure, he gets tough with strong-man Jim Acosta in person).

Not with Putin. Never tough on Putin, a brutal dictator who kills his own people, kills journalists and attacked the United States.

I wonder why that is.

If only our form of government had a way to "control", if you will, the president somewhat and provide some sort of "equilibrium."
