I think Trump may have made things worse for him today. He flew back expecting a parade (military parade?) and instead faced a shitstorm. Where was all this talk when he was FTF with Putin? As much as he tries, Trump will never be, and is incapable of being, the alpha dog.

 

I like how Trump did an interview with FNC right after the summit, but didn't see the need to clarify anything. But now has to read a hostage statement written by his staff to clear up his "real" intent.

Can we start the clock on when he gets on Twitter and recants today's clarification and goes back to what he said in Finland?
