You can’t take trump literally, because he doesn’t know what he’s saying. You can’t take him seriously because he’s a congenital liar. You can’t take anything from his tone because its all loud, unmodulated and often lacks coherence. He has no nuance. He couldn’t use nuance in a sentence. He’s like pre-tornado winds on the prairie, it portends something terrible is coming, but it lacks sufficient force and substance to do anything but blow the weeds down the road.
