For once, I don't blame the Democratic Party leadership for Clinton. She made it clear that she wasn't going to be pushed aside by some unknown in 2016 and would unleash vengeance on anyone who tried. So, as a result, you had a few D-listers and one guy who initially looked like as a historical footnote as her competition.

But yeah. I watched her on C-Span a few times in the last weeks of the campaign. If anything, she got worse. Wooden, android-like, etc. etc. How can someone who spent the best part of their adult lives speaking in public - as an activist, lawyer, First Lady and politician - be so bad?

After-election surveys indicate that while in most states people who decided in the last week were split reasonably evenly, they broke strongly for Trump in Pa., Mich. and Wis. And there's your story.

You know, Trump could actually become a very popular President if he contented himself with a big tax cut (everybody likes those), tough talk and relatively little additional action on immigration (we're already deporting lots of people) and kept us the hell out of any more wars. But now he appears (who the hell knows for sure) to be signing on to the Paul Ryan plan to turn Medicare into an Obamacare type subsidies for private insurance plan and to cut Medicaid dramatically, as well as taking national security advice and counsel from people who were shunned by the Bush administration for being too paranoid. It's a formula for unpopularity.

Christie got pushed out. Now Christie's people are getting pushed out.

    That's not a big deal.

What's fascinating is how far Christie has fallen, despite all the coat holding and McDonald's runs.

What's fascinating is that it's a day later and you still have yet to own up to fabricating facts...

    Still on the clock!

Until about 9 p.m. on Nov. 8, they had simply consoled themselves by thinking, "We could have been fucked. Thank God the other side chose someone worse than we did."

    What fabricating?

It's pretty easy to spot a fake story based on one bitter source, intending to embarrass Trump.

    Sorry you don't see it.

I said this Wednesday: Some people are head coaches and some people are coordinators. She's a coordinator. Always was. The fact that this country so easily tossed her aside for a guy with "Hussein" as a middle name seven years after 9-11 is telling. She's just not likable.
