You are absolutely right. Unless your patron saved a van full of babies, or found a cure for cancer, you are going to piss off people.

Especially Trumpers.

These are perfect examples of the lack of evidence Trump’s detractors have to prove his racism.

None of these are dignified comments. I wouldn’t make them, and don’t think they help Trump.

But, in each case, he’s criticizing someone who criticized him first, and they’re the exact same kinds of comments he’s made about white people.

 

I do think Trump and many of his followers are racist, but nothing in that tweet proves it.

 

I'm still getting over the fact that the president of the United States called a black woman "that dog." Jesus Christ, that's awful.

It doesn't matter that she said mean things first. Think of the vitriol that was aimed at the Obamas and how often they bit their tongues. Real presidents don't talk like that. He is such a stain on that office.

 

Look at what you do all day, dude. You defend a guy who calls a woman a dog. And your defense? The one that doesn't even fly on an elementary school playground, "she said it first". Jesus H Christ, even I am embarrassed for you.

 

Trump's vocabulary is only slightly better than my 4-year-old's vocabulary.

 

This is an excuse you wouldn't accept from a child.

If you don't see the racism in these comments, you are either ignorant of history or playing dumb. Attacking intelligence and dehumanizing people is one of the pillars of racism.
