I would sign on for that in a second. Let pence run the country and show up for applause at rallies.

Most of the people I know who are all about God and country were hardly the most pious people when they were younger.

You really think somebody like Sean Hannity, Ted Nugent, Curt Schilling, Josh Fuerstein or Howie Carr have sincerely held religious beliefs?

Would somebody who draws a false equivalence between Wal Mart refusing to sell Confederate flags and a baker refusing to sell a cake to a same-sex couple have sincerely held religious beliefs?

Would somebody who would write a Facebook post like this after Charlottesville last year have sincerely held religious beliefs?

"Lee may have been a "traitor", but at least he put his neck on the line for his ideals. The demonstrators on both sides in Charlottesville did the same thing- (not as much for antifa because the government aided and abetted them, but there's still a chance of injury or death)

I have a question for the critics: What are you doing? It's easy to criticize someone who chose to go out there and do something, but what's your answer? What are you doing for your country?

I read an article from Daily Kos where some retired "conservative" politician was trying to get Donald Trump removed from office by saying he was unfit for duty or some such nonsense. When I read the article, it hit me: he has to be at least 70 years old, which means he was 10 years old in 1956. Detroit is my hometown. In 1956, Detroit was a beautiful city. A child could ride a bicycle without getting hit by a stray bullet. Kids could even go trick or treat! You can't do that anymore. No transexuals in the military. No bakers forced to bake gay wedding cakes. A little more than a decade later, we put a man on the moon. I wondered...this man was a "conservative" politician..what the hell has he conserved?

John Dingell also gave a nice speech about being willing to fight "Nazis" again like he supposedly did in WW2. John is from Detroit. It's nice that you are eager to fight nazis, John, but where the hell were you when Detroit was burning? Robert Lee may have been a traitor, but at least he's not the kind of person that does nothing when his country turns to shit, like the "patriots" of later generations. If only we had more Robert E Lees! The worst part of this is that the young people are going to have to pay for the cowardice of the old."

It's awfully convenient when somebody's God hates the same people they do.

    His followers don't know that.
He can call himself whatever he wants, he ran on a conservative agenda.
Gorsuch wasn't exactly a centrist choice.
Even Jeff Flake says he likes the judge appointments.

The John Brennan thing is quite a display. Does it really matter that his has clearance? No. But the implications are quite disgusting.

Even more disgusting, again, is the overwhelming silence from Republicans. Spineless weasels are so fucking scared of Trump and their own political future. Party/Person over country has never been more apparent.

Do real Republicans really think Brennan is a threat to national security? Can any real Republicans say that or defend this move?

Meanwhile, more and more smart, principled people are being exiled. Mostly a band of fucking idiots left running the country.

The obstruction of justice case has already been made in plain sight. One can only imagine how much Mueller has.

African-American local politician endorses Republican immigration policy.

Mich. Rep. Bettie Scott allegedly used racial slur for Asian opponent

"she said to the voter that 'these immigrants from China are coming over and taking our community from us.' Further, she said it 'disgusts her seeing black people holding signs for these Asians and not supporting their own people.'"

Maddow had the theory that Brennan and the others on the list would need their security clearance for future testimony. Brennan mentioned in an interview that the only time he has used it was for testimony purposes.
He will be on her show Fri. night.
