You are blaming the press. They are not blameless, but the greater fault is with ICE's comm shop. If they had announced the man was a murder suspect on the date of his arrest and not 3 days later, few of these misleading viral stories would have circulated.

With the daily flood of news, much of it worthwhile and some of it BS, this a potentially major development that should get a lot of attention.

I don’t know much about McGahn. I do know he represents the office and not the man.
