How many guilty pleas has Mueller's team gotten now?

They do plea deals all the time. Sentence is negotiated, no need for the expense and uncertainty of a trial.

I would think Mueller would rather have testimony and evidence on record - but it's not like he does not still have it. It would still leave another close Trump insider convicted.

    Mueller’s team isn’t prosecuting Cohen.

At this point, it is settled law.

That sounds like a statement of fact, not an indication of how he would vote on any new case that could come before the court.

Though, obviously the court decides what cases they hear.

Cillizza: How different do GOP lawmakers -- and governors, etc. -- talk about Trump privately versus publicly? And if it's different, is that delta entirely explained by fear of losing?

Mike Murphy: I don't talk to all of them, but there is widespread contempt. They think he is vain and stupid. But many say they are powerless to change his behavior. The thinking goes: "If I publicly criticize him he won't change one bit, but I'll lose my seat in a primary to a nut and the nut will give the seat to vile socialists on the other side, who are no better than Trump in many ways. Plus we cannot let the liberal Republican-hating media 'win.' So I keep quiet...

Didn't Mueller's team refer this to the prosecutors who are doing it?

Also, John Roberts on FNC is saying 3-5 years in prison for Cohen.

It's settled until the Supremes decide to disregard it's "settled" status and throw it out.

Am I the only one who feels like three to five years isn't very much?
