I’m looking for a social liberal, fiscal moderate, free trader, solid environmentalist who will jettison the Department of Education and combine Commerce and Labor into Treasury for a Department of the Economy. And a few other agencies can be folded up and streamlined. Someone who will offer Medicaid Options to all ages. And for the sake of everything, We dont need a military budget great than the next 12 Nations combined.

All of this is completely true. But the childish part of my brain keeps screaming about how this would've been used against a Clinton administration.

People say this all the time, and yet look what’s happening in Georgia. They are literally trying to close 10 polling places in black counties to make it harder to vote. And white people are mostly like: Meh. Not me, who cares.

You can say over and over that Dems ought to be able to win, but you can’t pretend it’s a fair contest when the GOP is doing everything they can to suppress voters who often vote against them. You can gerrymander the fuck out of a district and intentionally and illegally turn people away at the polls. People who live in a whole different universe and chant shit like “Lock her up!” at a Trump rally on a day when two of Trump most important advisors either plead guilty or were convicted are simply not not to be influenced by any reasonable interpretation of the facts. Without a 24/7 propaganda effort on behalf of right wing media, this horny orange lizard man wouldn’t get 20 percent of the vote.

Ford sells the Escort, Fiesta, Fusion (it’s the Mondeo everywhere else) and the C-Max on both sides, but current Ford management is stupid and is therefore eliminating them.

I always thought Joe would be great in a national arena, where he doesn't have the entire state of West Virginia, the NRA and the coal companies holding him hostage with every decision he makes.

examples of potential candidates who have done amazing jobs and are getting recognized more and more

  8. I thought Manchin would have run in the primary against Obama. And then been a great, logical VP choice.
He's an ideal Dem candidate. He should be the guy.
In spite of the WV Red, Manchin has a lead in the senate race over Morrisey. People like Manchin.

Beto O’Rourke, there’s a solid candidate with a backbone and conviction (he just took on NFL and kneeling and smoked it)

The latter. If he had testified under oath, with threat of perjury hanging over his head … yeah, no. Bad idea from his point of view.

Same reason Trump knows deep down that he doesn’t dare testify under oath.

  11. The problem is No (moderate) White Guy is coming out of the Democratic primary. ... Except, Maybe Biden. MAYBE....

  12. Even if he is pardoned... Trump is still in trouble, right?

Which, gulp, I hate to say, but I am not happy about that... I'll take Trump over Pence.
