Illegal immigration in this country would be stopped tomorrow if the "No-Match" FICA data from the Social Security Administration (SSA) was shared with the Justice Dept. and used to sanction employers.

You can draw a direct line from his tweet to the white supremacists who constantly talk about "white genocide." That should be troubling to all Americans - except the neo-Nazis and KKK.

 

People didn't turn out for Hilary, because she is unlikeble. And lacks the ability to relate to common folks.
Again, the Primaries are a COMPLETELY different animal than general elections.

I think the Dem. party will return to prominence in a few years, when voting "minorities" outnumber whites and begin showing up at the polls. Guys like Manchin, old white gusy are NOT represenative of the Democratic party. And may never be again. I will not/can not disagree with you there.

IF Manchin was the nominee, he would win. I believe that absolutely. Won't happen.

And so long as the Dems trot out Bernie, Hillary, Biden, Warren, they will lose. Every. Time.

47 states, or 3 electoral votes. A loss in an election is a loss.

People didn't turn out for Hillary the way they did for Obama was because she's an old white lady. I'll have to look it up, but large swaths of minority voters did not go to the polls.

And you believe that Joe Manchin would appeal to African Americans, Latinos and women, three pretty key elements of the Democratic Party? In what universe does Joe Manchin — who literally said he might endorse Trump in 2020! — boost minority turnout above the level Hillary Clinton had?

I'm pretty sure virtually all our soybeans are harvested by means of large mobile machines known as combines. Neither plucked nor picked are verbs that much apply to the soybean world.
