Why are folks assuming he means the military instead of the ATF, FBI, DEA, US Marshal Service?

Obama already sent more ATF agents here. This would certainly be a move along those lines.

 

To come back to Republican support for unions (just catching up with the thread) - try living in a "Right to Work" state. Any employee can be immediately fired for any reason or no reason. Number one on the any reason list is breathing the word "union" within five miles of the workplace.

 

How's Trump paying for that wall!?!

Where are the fiscal conservatives on that budgetary boondoggle?

 

Wasn't very long ago the Republican establishment in Tennessee threatened to claw back every penny in incentives it gave to Volkswagen for daring not to oppose unionization with hammer and tong. No wonder YF isn't a professional spinner anymore. Who would buy such obvious bullshit?

 

Including his rock ribbed conservative support of trade restrictions and strong labor unions.

 

He's going to try to seize a percentage of all money sent from US sources to Mexican sources, iirc.

 

It's all part of the package, and it's better than the one Clinton was offering.
