There are others, but I don’t think many are wondering if, for example, Sonny Purdue, the Sec of Ag whose name sounds like he’s a sheriff from some backward county in rural Georgia, is the author.

If you’re not the author, why wouldn’t you have issued a denial by this point?

 

I wonder if it's possible the op-ed writer was writing the majority opinion for a group of people within the administration and they agreed beforehand to not rat each other out. If there's a group of people who don't deny, they can't find the writer by process of elimination.
