There is a billboard near my house advertising for a maintenance technician paying $30 hour with a $3000 sign up bonus.

There's a lot of things there. First I've never seen a company where I live post a billboard for a job. Second that's a lot of money for that job. Third that's a heck of a sign up bonus.

That tells me wages are rising very fast because the labor market is getting very tight.

By the way, we have people confused about what sex they are, what bathrooms to use, "transgender boys" in high school joining wrestling teams and beating up girls, people literally gathering to scream at the sky because of the election of Donald Trump, a Mexican/Jewish woman accused of being a white supremacist because of some obscure hand placement, Senators Cory Booker and Dick Durbin not understanding basic procedures like Roberts Rules of Order, a past president who claimed 2% GDP is the "new norm" and now we are seeing 4.1% growth in GDP...only a mental midget with the emotional maturity of a teenage girl would think THIS is embarrassing.
