I know I hate when I’m just trying to sell some fruit punch Gatorade and I get accused of being an international assassin. Really feel for these guys. I bet there wasn’t even a nerve agent. A few people caught the flu and one woman suddenly went on vacation ... forever. #PutinDidNothingWrong

The combination of Trump's narcissistic, needy soul combined with his dumb, conspiracy-addled mind sure makes for a potent strain of asshole.

Trump, a BRAWNY fellow who denies death tolls and fears his staff will stage a mutiny against him like he is on the BOUNTY.

It MUST be noted yet again, that this man is not a (inaccessible) island of himself; he is the totalitarian leader of the Republican party, which of course means that every vote cast this November for every Republican serves as tacit approval of every comment this man makes.

Democrats would be wise to make this fact very, very clear.

It's an old saw in political theory that you don't win elections by running against somebody rather than for something. I think this time might be a big exception to the rule. Even compared to 2016. There is just so much more to hate about him now. (I mean, there was a lot then. But there's more now.)

Beto O'Rourke almost makes me wish I lived in Texas.

    Almost.

The front page of FoxNews.com right now:

"Top story: John Kerry slammed for holding unsanctioned policy meetings with Iran officials"

    OK, fair enough.

Below that, articles on Cory Book's inaccurate "Spartacus" moment and another, under the title "Blame America," about a former state department official during Pres. Obama's tenure, who is now running for congress, who criticized the U.S. response to 9/11. Front page has a photo of Pres. Obama posing for a photo with her.

Not a word on the front page, as far as I can see, about Pres. Trump's comments.

Simple math, and the road back for the republic: Endorsements don't win elections. Turnout wins elections.
