    Vince Gill is a hell of a guitar player, too. Turned down an invitation to join Dire Straits as a guitarist because he was focused on launching a solo career.

    Though I am not a huge country fan nor expert, I think the genre has so many "great" singers. Those mentioned above included. But how many of any genre sounded better than Glen Campbell? But is there anything better than Kris Kristofferson singing Sunday Morning Coming Down with Steve Earle. Perfection but so different.

    I'm not sure if she did it from a political motive, that the charges were kinda flimsy and long ago, and that the Dems would look bad pressing it, or if she has a couple of generations back's worldview, a pre-#MeToo view of young men. It was a bad call either way.
