Two or three decades ago, Hatch would be censured, at the least, by his fellow senators if he said this.

Even today, the backlash surely will be strong ... I would hope. Any corroboration yet?

 

Grassley will be there until 2022.
Probably still heading the judiciary committee.

 

Hatch, Grassley, McConnell and their GOP ilk probably watch “The Handmaid’s Tale” and mutter, “They had some good ideas there.”

 

He cares about getting kavanaugh on he bench. He doesn’t give a shit that he looks like a pervy old man

 

History is watching these old fools. They might not care but their descendants will.
No one alive will forget the assery these guys have shown in the last several months.

Roger that. Senate is more about the number of vulnerable incumbents, and the Democrats have far more of those than the Republicans this time around. They have to hold those and take a couple of more from the R's.

Yeah, but when the shoe is on the other foot, the Democrats are supposed to be the adults in the room, the good example of how things should properly be done. Then when the R's are back in the majority they'll cornhole the D's and tradition all over again, laughing all the way.

Were you fine with it when the Republicans — especially McConnell, the king of putting your political party ahead of doing the right thing for your nation — did exactly the same thing to Barack Obama over and over and over for 8 years?
