You can't always know what people are going through, but there's a good chance you will regret taking this shot.

"That's a beautiful Supreme Court nomination you've got there. It would be a shame if anything happened to it."

Except it's Trump, not Obama. And we all know how much Trump slobbers over dictators vs. respecting the separation of powers.

    LOL.

Or, the more probable scenario: She was just showing off for her social media friends by pretending to know more than she did, not realizing the real media would descend upon her for a Facebook post. Knew she couldn't back the claim with details and others would not corroborate her claim that "everyone was talking about it." Was forced to take it back. Made a fool of herself.

    It doesn't matter.
Heaven and earth was going to be moved to get this guy confirmed.
My only hope was that some of the shit sticks to McConnell, Hatch, Grassley and others in the autumn of their lives.

Those dudes already ARE in the autumn of their lives. It's almost Thanksgiving for Grassley and Hatch.

Right, but they are being replaced by Tom Cotton and Ted Cruz. Right wing nut jobs who don't sound like they have the penis of an 8 year old boy in their mouth.

Michael, as my granny used to say, bad grass don't die.
I have come to learn that is ever true.
I liked Dan Oregon's idea of a relief sculpture of these men somewhere on Capitol Hill, many years down the road.
Consider it as a sort of scarecrow in a wheat field type thing, a cautionary device.
