Gillum is up 5 points in NYT polling last week, and I wonder if their sampling is representative of likely Democratic voters who may not be pollable because they only have mobile phones.

Midterm Election Poll: Florida Governor, DeSantis vs. Gillum

I've watched those numbers the NY Times puts up realtime while those calls are being made. The sheer number of calls needed just to glean, like, 800 responses in mind-boggling.

    Wait a minute....
Places are STILL doing polling with landline only? No way.

I have only been polled twice in 10 years -- during the 2012 general and the 2017 NJ Gov. race. And Mrs. W picks up every call on our landline so it's not like we are ducking them

Hence the 37,000 calls needed to get 750 responses.

You every bit as unhinged as you claim Trump is. You two deserve each other.

This Republican is voting for Gillum and Nelson for Senate. I can't stomach Rick Scott.

I don't know Trump so I can't say what is in his heart but are you arguing that he isn't constantly utilizing certain words/phrases that play well to a very racist and Anti-Semitic voter? I might argue that doing this strictly for a political advantage is as bad or worse than actually believing. Do you agree that his use of these "dog whistles" may lead actual racists/Anti-Semites to feel emboldened? Is this not dangerous?

    1. He exhibits personal contempt for Jews.

    2. He buys into popular stereotyping of Jews ("I want Jews counting my money.")

    3. He has repeated and retweeted wild anti-Semitic conspiracy theories (Soros, etc etc,)

    4. His embrace of the alt-right that trucks in blatant anti-Semitism.

    5. His blatant pandering to the evangelicals who make a public spectacle of supporting Israel -- so it can be incinerated in the final battle of the Rapture.
