President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Very confused. I've heard on this very board so often that the awesome stock market would continue to rocket upward, that the president's popularity was destined to top 50 percent and that he would be undeniably incredible forever.

 

Wow, he exceeded the double dog and went straight for the triple dog dare you.

And I'm only half-joking. At some point, Trump or one of his office-seeking sycophants will actually go there.

 

Oh it's definitely bullshit for his base. It amazes me to no end that people vote for him. But I really wouldn't put it past him to ignore Posse Comitatus. He's that crazy. Would our military be smart enough to refuse those orders if they're given?

 

Let's say that in October 2010, an Iranian-American superfan of Barack Obama mailed pipe bombs to Fox News, John McCain, George W. Bush, Alberto Gonzales and Pat Robertson. One day story?

 

Right. Who's gonna prosecute them? I can just see some judge issuing a restraining order. Trump would laugh, pull a Stalin and ask the judge how many divisions he has.

 

And, of course, if any of them set foot across the river, it's an act of war against Mexico.
