I do believe, that if the states agreed to give up their suffrage - and all states agreed to the change - you could amend it as such.

Which is why I say: Have fun with that. It'd be easier for me to stop LeBron James on a drive to the hoop.

A whole lot of things need to change but how representation is handled does not. It's a fine, fair system. Two senators per state and house seats based on population. Nothing wrong with it. Like 60'6" to the plate and 90 feet between bases, they got it right years ago and it should be left alone.

First time in years where every person/thing I voted for actually won. Won't change my life one iota but still. You take your smiles where you can.

I think Wolf and Casey are both popular incumbents. But when I look at the map of Pennsylvania I still see Philadelphia being heavily blue, and the suburbs turning increasingly blue. I see Allegheny County as being blue (I don't know anything about Lamb's new district). But I see all that red from Philadelphia to the state line with the aforementioned exception in Pittsburgh.

I don't think last nights election results resulted from many people changing their minds. I think the Democrats had a more motivated base and bumped turnout up. In the suburbs there is also an increasing minority population that the Democrats mobilized.

    True.

Still, we lowered the mound in '68.

What, about six people live in that state. What takes it so long?

Those voters acted rationally. By Nevada law, the dead winner will be replaced by someone selected by the district's party committee. If the voters wanted a Republican, they had to go with the corpse.

Didn't someone die in a plane crash years ago, Missouri maybe? Not long before the election? He won anyway and his wife got the spot? I'm old, maybe I'm misremembering.

Hey now! I never said they got everything right!
Some things need changing. Some things don't.

There are seven reservations in Montana and just under seven percent of the estimated 1.06 million people in the state are Native American, so yeah, a few more than six people.

I think it was McCaskill and I thought she joined the ticket before the election. In this Nevada situation you have no idea who you're getting, just that its an R.
