Reminder: 100 percent reporting does not mean 100 percent of votes, just that all precincts have reported votes. California will be counting for weeks, as it did in 2016.

Thanks. TV guy said it would be announced Thursday at 5 local time and if the Democrat was within 20K votes she ought to be feeling pretty good.

Seems like a weird way of doing business.

That's the seat Flake gave up, right? Chuck Todd pressed him last night on 2020 and it sure sounded like he's going to challenge Trump. Todd asked him straight up: How soon will you be in Iowa?

Flake will probably say one thing then do something supporting Trump.

I or anyone else on this board would do better in 2020 Republican primaries than Flake will if he runs.

If you look ahead to 2020 (I know) they can pick off Maine and maybe Colorado. Then go after Ernst in Iowa, which now has three of its four house reps as Ds and Steve King barely survived (thanks, fellow racists!), and the open seat in Arizona where they have to come up with a better candidate than the one who lost to that racist MFing McSally. They'll have to hope Jones can hold on in Alabama because he won't get to run against Roy Moore against. Jeannie Sheehan will have a fight on her hands in New Hampshire. So that's possibly a net of four or a loss of one. If Booker is the candidate in 2020 they'll have to find someone to run for his seat, but if Bob Menendez can win with all the things he had hanging over his head it shouldn't be hard to find someone to succeed Booker.

Fuck that guy. He can now literally go pound sand for the rest of time. He had his chance. Anything he says or does now is worth its weight in air.

That guy can go for a long walk off a short pier, too. He was the next star of the repubs and now he lost his state to a nobody (to those outside Wisconsin at least). Here's hoping he vanishes like a fart in the wind.

No such luck. He'll either get a White House job or a Fox News gig.

A story I read made no mention of what happens next. Does the candidate with the second-highest vote total get it? Another election?
