In all seriousness, and @Amy you can probably elucidate on this, the center of the Court has to be tantalizingly fertile ground because it wields so much power, especially in a 5-4 Court (O'Connor and Kennedy occupied this space). And it has been said early on that Roberts hates 5-4 decisions on partisan grounds. I think we have a new pivot man, ladies and gents.
